Experiments
After finishing my final layers of my See You Too (CU2) linocut, I had quite a bit of ink left over. It was very satisfying to smear it around on the inking plate with a spackle knife, and I started making random patterns. I placed paper on top to transfer the abstractions. I experimented with smearing on the inking plate, smearing directly onto the paper, and dripping/drizzling onto the paper. As I cleaned off the roller with soy solv, I had to capture the fascinated streaks that occurred. Cleaning up after a printing session was just as exciting as creating the prints!
