2022: Petersen, M. J., Johnson, R. L., & Anderson, V. J. (2022). A review of Psilochalcis Kieffer (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea: Chalcididae) from the western United States with descriptions of three new species from Utah and surrounding states. Western North American Naturalist, 82(4), 704-718. - Commissioned to provide 19 illustrations of various features that define 3 new species of microscopic wasps. The paper published in this journal describes the new species, and required illustrations to demonstrate how these species are different from other known species. Click here to view the article.

Fall 2013: Espiritu Santo - participating artist in the interdisciplinary interactive performance under the direction of Paulo Acampo. In charge of painting on the body of a dancer in respect to the theme of Espiritu Santo/ All Saints Day.

Fall of 2012: Mural Project - worked as a muralist on the “Sacred Images” mural hanging in the main hall at Jordan High School. JHS received a grant from The Center for Documentary Expression and Art that aimed to expand knowledge about Native American Culture through the creation of a mural.
